Responsibilities
Manage and lead complex programs involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for peripheral product offerings. Oversee the logistics of parts for builds and prototypes, effectively managing multiple simultaneous projects. Develop and direct the creation of schedules, critical deliverables, budgets, resource allocation plans, and other support requirements for assigned programs. Manage activities of supporting project teams and internal/external development partners; analyze business data to optimize schedules and resource allocation to meet product requirements. Manage programs to ensure procedural compliance, maintenance, and safety practices are rigorously followed for new and existing equipment. Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborate with management and partners to implement changes to products, processes, or business practices. Follow up on open points and action items observed during product trials, ensuring they are translated into actionable engineering tasks. Drive innovation, the integration of new technologies, and quality initiatives within the manufacturing and engineering organizations. Champion best practices through robust documentation control policies and procedures. Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to junior and peer engineering team members. Collaborate with ODM R&D teams, HP verification teams, and third-party laboratories to develop and oversee rigorous hardware certification programs. Ensure comprehensive tracking of reliability testing and hardware certification.
