## Responsibilities
- Conduct research focused on the development of new generative AI models and deep learning methods to create, edit, and optimize photorealistic computer graphics and 3D scenes with real-time rendering.
- Work in close collaboration with senior researchers and other PhD students on projects exploring the intersection of neural rendering (e.g., NeRF and Gaussian Splatting) and traditional computer graphics.
- Engage in doctoral education and research projects.
- Participate in teaching or other institutional duties, up to 20% of full-time.
## Requirements
- Completed a degree in advanced computer engineering, technical physics, applied mathematics, computer science, or equivalent; OR completed at least 240 higher education credits, of which at least 60 credits at an advanced level in a relevant subject such as machine learning, computer vision, computer graphics, or image analysis; OR acquired substantially equivalent knowledge in another way.
- Analytical, proactive, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Genuine interest in visual technology and the ability to work both independently and effectively in a group.
- Very good programming skills in Python and C++.
- Documented experience in computer graphics and GPU development.
- Practical experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, as the research is conducted in an international environment.
