Responsibilities
Assist with preparation of monthly Management Accounts and weekly financial reports; Support month-end and year-end closing activities; Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger reconciliations; Perform supplier, bank, revenue and balance sheet reconciliations; Manage accounts payable and liaise with suppliers, the Payments Team and Store Managers; Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with statutory requirements; Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including additions, disposals and depreciation; Maintain lease accounting records in accordance with IFRS 16; Review inventory reports, investigate stock variances and support month-end stock closing; Reconcile transactions from food delivery platforms and ensure revenue accuracy; Verify petty cash balances and support cash and banking reconciliations; Liaise with the Payroll Team to ensure accurate payroll journal postings; Support internal and external audits; Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and strengthen internal controls.
