Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on vacuum pumps, exhaust systems, abatement units, and semiconductor process equipment; Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum-related system failures; Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime; Replace, rebuild, and overhaul vacuum pumps, seals, bearings, valves, and associated components; Conduct leak detection, vacuum integrity testing, and system qualification activities; Interpret technical drawings, schematics, maintenance procedures, and manufacturer documentation; Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process tool startups; Document maintenance activities, equipment status, and repair actions in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS); Follow cleanroom protocols, contamination control requirements, and safety procedures when working with hazardous gases, chemicals, and high-vacuum systems; Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and equipment teams to resolve equipment issues and improve production performance; Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, safety, and operational excellence
