Responsibilities
Lead and enable the team to achieve data center service quality and compliance goals; Provide guidance, coaching, and support to help the team maintain compliance with Data Center Services policies, procedures, deadlines, and service-change requirements; Ensure technicians are trained on procedures for installation, deployment, replacement, and post-execution quality check processes; Verify post-execution quality checks have been completed appropriately and take corrective action as needed; Escalate issues through appropriate channels and follow up on resolution, sharing knowledge with appropriate teams; Review process changes, assess impact on service delivery, and communicate relevant updates to stakeholders across teams and functions; Complete required safety training, conduct daily safety briefings, and participate in on-site safety committees; Ensure technicians and vendor personnel follow established safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment, equipment handling, lifting practices, electrical safety, and ladder or rolling stair procedures; Promote a culture of safety and empower technicians to take action, speak up, and report safety concerns and/or incidents; Display accountability and ownership of the data center facilities.
