## About the role Set up in December 2019, fena is a well-funded startup in fintech and payments. Fena powers up seamless access to Open Banking. Fena offers Open Banking payments for online, e-commerce and in-store transactions. We are looking for a Fullstack JavaScript Developer with some experience in payments. So if you are a go-getter who would like to embark on the journey with a relatively new business; then we would love to have a chat with you. ## Responsibilities - Backend Development using Nodejs, Express, GCP, and REST APIs - Frontend Development using React.js - Database Management with MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis - Testing implementation using Jest and Mocha - Adherence to code practices including Gitflow, TDD, BDD, documentation, and tooling (e.g., API Blueprint, StoryBook) ## Requirements - At least 5 years of experience in the following areas: - Backend Experience: Nodejs, Express, GCP, REST APIs - Frontend Experience: React.js - Database Experience: MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis - Testing Experience: Jest, Mocha - Code Practices: Gitflow, TDD, BDD, documentation and tooling (e.g., API Blueprint, StoryBook) ## What we offer - Generous equity in the company - Company pension - Flexible working hours - Flexible remote working - Ability to grow the team as the company is scaling ## About the company Fena - Seamless access to Open Banking payments We believe that costly card payments and outdated infrastructure shouldn't hamper businesses, and with Fena, they don't. Retailers can accept bank transfers as seamlessly as card payments for a fraction of the cost. - Invoice Payments: Users can insert a QR code or payment link onto invoices to ensure they receive the right amount, every time. Generate these payment requests manually, or connect your account via API to automatically generate requests.
