Responsibilities
Serve as subject matter expert on revenue recognition and advise stakeholders on ASC 606 application; Review and analyze complex customer contracts to determine revenue recognition treatment; Own key aspects of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close process; Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate contract setup and reporting; Identify revenue recognition risks and drive process improvements; Prepare and review revenue-related schedules for internal and external reporting; Lead revenue accounting initiatives including system implementations and automation; Execute UAT and change management for new system implementations; Support internal and external audits and maintain SOX controls; Mentor junior team members on revenue accounting processes.
