Software Development Manager, Amazon Robotics

## Responsibilities - Lead and develop a team of software engineers, providing mentorship, coaching, and growth opportunities to help them advance their technical skills and impact - Partner with product and program management teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical strategies and roadmaps - Oversee the design, development, and deployment of multi-tier web services and edge solutions that support robotic workcell operations - Establish and maintain engineering practices and standards across your team, including code reviews, testing, certification processes, and operational excellence - Communicate technical designs, product features, and strategic direction to stakeholders across engineering, product, and senior leadership ## Requirements - 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 7+ years of engineering experience - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations - Experience partnering with product or program management teams - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field ## Nice to Have - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy - Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers - Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent ## Benefits Amazon offers a full range of benefits for you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children.
