## Job Title Migration & Modernization SA ## Responsibilities - Support customers' cloud journey by creating migration strategies together with them and modernizing existing applications using AWS AI technologies to improve agility. - Provide assessments, architecture design, technical selection, and workshops based on existing application architecture and development processes. - Enable customers by offering technical workshops on how to use AWS services effectively for modernization. - Share best practices internally and externally through events, blogs, and other channels. - Analyze customer applications to show how they can become more agile from technology, process, and people/organization perspectives. - Collaborate with global team members, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, to share best practices on AWS AI-driven modernization. - Support employees' work-life balance by accommodating needs such as childcare. ## Requirements - Experience in planning, implementing, and executing application architecture refreshes or improvements for on-premises or cloud environments. - Knowledge and experience in application architecture (monolith, microservices) and related technologies (containers, serverless). - Programming language and application software knowledge (e.g., Java, .NET, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Python, Go, or Ruby) and software architecture experience (e.g., DDD, Clean Architecture). - Basic knowledge or experience with AWS or other public cloud services and AI services. - Proficiency in Japanese and business English (reading and writing). ## Nice to Have - Experience in IT consulting, IT operations, application development, or support involving multi-tier distributed architecture (migration, design). - Knowledge or experience in CI/CD, DevOps. - Knowledge of various migration methodologies (rehost, refactor, rearchitect, replatform, repurchase). - Knowledge or experience in development processes (e.g., waterfall/agile, Scrum, SAFe). ## Benefits - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and grow professionally. - Mentorship from industry leaders in modernization. - Inclusive culture that values diversity and leverages individual strengths. - Collaborative team environment focused on innovation and customer success.
