Applied Scientist II, On Road Experience

## Responsibilities - Building machine learning models and algorithms in areas including mapping and location, pattern detection in sensor data, and computer vision. - Working with engineering and product management peers to drive designs from ideation through development and into production. - Bringing experience of research for similar products and solutions, preferably in consumer or industrial verticals. - Delivering results within the ambiguity of building a v1 product, with limited guidance. - Creating solutions that allow for faster and more confident delivery. ## Requirements - 3+ years of building models for business application experience - PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience - Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals - Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language - Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing ## Nice to Have - Experience using Unix/Linux - Experience in professional software development ## Benefits - Inclusive culture that empowers employees to deliver the best results for customers. - Opportunities for professional growth and innovation in the field of smart delivery operations. - Collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge solutions. - Access to advanced technologies and tools for research and development.
