Applied Scientist, Amazon Core Search

## Responsibilities - Lead efforts in improving search on Amazon using NLP, ML, and DL technology. - Develop high precision, high recall, and low latency solutions for search. - Work on query understanding, semantic matching, and ranking. - Create scalable science and engineering solutions that work successfully in production. - Collaborate with leaders to develop a strategic vision and long term plans to improve search globally. - Expand into new areas as the team grows. ## Requirements - Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language - Experience with SQL and an RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) or Data Warehouse - Master's degree ## Nice to Have - Experience implementing algorithms using both toolkits and self-developed code - Have publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals ## Benefits - Inclusive culture that empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. - Support for workplace accommodations during the application and hiring process, including interview or onboarding support.
