[Keppel Internship Programme 2027] Intern, Business Development, DER (Jan - May 2027)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future.

The intern will be responsible in the following:
'Assist in market research and analysis, including energy market trends, regulatory frameworks and competitive landscapes relevant to PV and BESS
Support the preparation of presentation decks
Assist in coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to support project development activities
Help to maintain project trackers, data rooms and internal documentation for ongoing and prospective projects
Provide general administrative support duties such as preparing meeting materials and documenting key discussion points
Perform any other duties and responsibilities reasonably requested by the immediate supervisor or Head of Department from time to time

Learning Outcomes:
'Gain practical exposure to PV & BESS projects across development stages
Develop skills in project evaluation and stakeholder coordination within the renewable energy sector.
Build a strong understanding of how clean energy projects are structured, assessed and executed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Pursuing Degree in Engineering preferred or Degree in Business with a Diploma in Engineering
• Keen interest in sustainability
• Prior experience in financial analysis, financial modelling will be highly desirable
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and good team player
