Responsibilities
Provide ongoing engineering support for manufacturing, assembly, and integration of mechanical, optomechanical, and electromechanical modules; Investigate and resolve production and assembly issues, perform root cause analysis, and lead corrective actions; Lead NPI processes and transfer products from development to mass production, including readiness checks; Perform DFM reviews and provide engineering feedback to development to improve manufacturability, assembly, and maintenance; Define, develop, and implement manufacturing and assembly processes, including jigs, fixtures, tools, and testing methods; Support manufacturing at subcontractors, including CNC machining, casting, and plastic injection molding, as well as surface treatments and coatings; Write and update assembly instructions, manufacturing specifications, test instructions, and engineering documentation; Support engineering changes (ECO) and their implementation in production and the supply chain.
