Responsibilities

Partner with Product Design and Mechanical Engineering to drive DFM/DFA/DFX and influence product designs for assembly and scalability. Develop manufacturing concepts and assembly strategies from prototypes to production. Design and develop fixtures, tooling, nests, gauges, and manufacturing aids. Own fixture and tooling development from concept through release to production. Apply GD&T and tolerance analysis to ensure repeatable manufacturing. Evaluate component interfaces and assembly sequences. Develop and qualify manufacturing processes including bonding and mechanical assembly. Define critical process parameters and controls. Evaluate manual and automated assembly approaches. Use DOEs and capability analysis to validate designs. Troubleshoot complex product and process interactions. Collaborate with contract manufacturers and equipment vendors. Provide hands-on technical support during builds and ramp. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
