Senior Account Executive

San Francisco💼 Full-time🗓 2026-08-01

About the Role

A fast-growing, Series A-backed AI-powered procurement intelligence platform — serving the European industrial sector — is looking for a (Senior) Account Executive to join the team on-site in Munich. You'll own the full sales cycle, selling a compelling B2B SaaS product that helps Heads of Procurement and C-level stakeholders at manufacturing and industrial companies turn procurement into a strategic, cost-saving advantage.

This is a high-impact, full-cycle closing role within a performance-driven sales organization supported by a dedicated prospecting team. You'll be joining a ~150-person scaleup backed by top-tier European and global investors, with a clear mission to modernize industrial procurement through AI.

What You'll Do

• Qualify and close new B2B software customers across manufacturing and industrial verticals.

• Manage the end-to-end sales process — from first meeting through demos, negotiations, and contract signature.

• Collaborate closely with a prospecting team to maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline.

• Build tailored business cases that clearly articulate ROI and product value for procurement and C-level stakeholders.

• Develop customer-specific sales strategies aimed at forming long-term partnerships.

• Collect and relay customer feedback to inform product development and innovation.

• Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success to continuously improve the sales motion.

• Contribute to building out and training a high-performance sales organization.

• Identify and experiment with AI-driven workflows to accelerate your own and the team's sales effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

• At least 1–2 years of closing experience in B2B software sales; senior candidates should bring 5+ years.

• Demonstrated experience selling into industrial or technical environments.

• Fluent written and spoken German — excellent German communication skills are essential.

• Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and tracking key sales metrics.

• Proven ability to run a full sales cycle — from qualification to contract closure — including product demos and negotiations.

• Consultative, solution-oriented selling approach with the ability to build compelling business cases using data.

• Willingness and ability to work on-site in Munich and engage with customers in person.

Nice-to-haves:

• Familiarity with procurement or supply chain domains.

• Experience collaborating with an outbound prospecting or SDR team.

• Comfort operating in fast-paced, startup or scaleup environments and contributing to company-wide growth.

Location

This role is on-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Candidates must be willing to work from the Munich office and meet customers in person. Visa sponsorship is not available — candidates must already have the right to work in Germany.
