Refund & Cancellation Policy

CareerPlan is operated by Polynomial OÜ (Estonia). Paid subscriptions are sold and billed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record, who processes payments and any refunds.

1. Free plans

CareerPlan offers a free plan with no payment required, for both job-seekers and recruiters. Recruiters can use resume screening and candidate search & ranking for free; only revealing a candidate's contact details is paid. You can use the free tools indefinitely without subscribing.

2. Cancellation

You can cancel a paid subscription — job-seeker Pro or recruiter Unlimited — at any time from your account or by emailing support@careerplan.io. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. We do not automatically pro-rate or refund the remaining days of a period you have already started, except as described below or where required by law. A recruiter 14-day free trial requires no card and can be cancelled before it ends at no charge.

3. 14-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with a paid subscription, contact us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it, no questions asked. This applies to your initial purchase of a subscription plan.

3a. Pay-as-you-go candidate credits

Candidate credits ($5 each) are consumable. An unused credit can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Once a credit has been spent to reveal a candidate's contact details, that reveal has been delivered in full and the credit is non-refundable. Revealing the same candidate again never costs an additional credit.

4. EU/EEA consumers — right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a digital-services purchase. Because the service is provided immediately, by starting to use paid features during this period you acknowledge that you may lose the statutory withdrawal right for the portion already supplied. Our 14-day money-back guarantee (§3) is offered in addition to your statutory rights.

5. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for the same period until cancelled. We (via Paddle) send a receipt for each charge. If a renewal charge was unexpected, contact us within 14 days and we will review it in good faith.

6. How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to your original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
