Appian Developer Remote

Salary: $81,499 - 138,549 per year
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with 2+ years of professional experience on a large technical project. We require at least 1 year of hands-on Appian experience. A bachelors degree is required. You must have U.S. citizenship or the required status for this federal position. You must be eligible to obtain Public Trust clearance. You must reside in the United States, and the work must be performed in the United States. We value proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts. We prefer working knowledge of Java programming for Appian custom plug-ins. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities are important. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Effective written and verbal communication skills are preferred. Appian certification, or a planned date to earn certification, is strongly preferred for experienced developers new to Appian.
Responsibilities:
We partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business and technical needs. We design, develop, configure, and deploy Appian applications to match project requirements. We build workflows, interfaces, and data integrations using Appian Process Modeler and related platform tools. We create and maintain technical documentation and solution specifications. We support the development of custom components and Java plug-ins when needed. We work with architects and senior developers to uphold coding standards, best practices, and performance expectations. We conduct unit testing and assist with system and integration testing. We identify, document, and resolve defects, bugs, and performance issues promptly. We stay up to date on Appian releases, new capabilities, and industry best practices. We take part in training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing to strengthen our technical expertise. We communicate effectively with business analysts, project managers, developers, and end users. We contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment that supports successful delivery.
