Responsibilities
Define and steer DevOps strategy, roadmap, and operating standards; Mentor and lead a team of DevOps engineers; Partner with engineering, QA, security, and product teams to simplify delivery workflows; Design, build, and refine CI/CD pipelines; Automate build, testing, and release activities; Embed security controls into delivery pipelines through DevSecOps practices; Standardize deployment approaches such as blue-green, canary, and rolling releases; Architect and oversee cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and Azure; Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness; Optimize cloud spend and resource efficiency; Drive adoption of container technologies such as Docker; Manage and tune orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes; Ensure efficient deployment, scaling, and observability of microservices; Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions; Champion Site Reliability Engineering practices including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets; Troubleshoot production incidents and lead root cause analysis; Continually improve platform performance and reliability; Apply secure DevOps controls including secrets handling and access management; Ensure alignment with internal and regulatory compliance requirements; Perform vulnerability reviews and integrate security scanning tooling.
