Responsibilities
Design holistic patterns for secure cloud application environments and cloud platform enhancements. Perform technical assessments of existing architectures regarding infrastructure, performance, data security, and scalability. Architect and deliver cloud solutions across application, data, and infrastructure layers. Develop application and data architecture models supporting service-oriented delivery. Review solution designs for cloud suitability and automate deployment patterns. Help business lines design scalable, highly available application solutions. Collaborate with architects, operations, and delivery teams to align services with roadmaps. Advise business lines on refactoring applications using 12-factor and cloud-native microservices practices. Partner with stakeholders to shape cloud migration and transformation strategies. Identify cloud architecture gaps and recommend emerging technologies. Create pilots and proof of concepts for proposed solutions. Document best practices, guidance, and reusable templates. Lead working sessions with subject matter experts to coordinate migrations and resources. Engage with external vendors to evaluate solutions and capabilities. Promote a DevOps-driven culture and advance Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
