Junior Software Developer (AI-Assisted)
Salary: $65,394 - 78,755 per year
Requirements:
We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent hands-on project experience. We look for a strong eagerness to learn and develop as a software professional. You should be able to absorb new technologies quickly and adapt with ease. We value excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important. You need to work independently while managing several priorities at once. Experience with some of the following is preferred: Git and GitHub, JavaScript and/or TypeScript, REST APIs, SQL or relational databases, command-line/terminal usage, AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar, Vercel deployments, and modern web development concepts. We would like to see personal software projects, a GitHub profile, a portfolio website, open-source contributions, or school and side projects you are proud of. Professional experience is helpful, but it is not required. We expect candidates to have built at least one software application outside of classroom assignments, based on our application questions.
Responsibilities:
We maintain and enhance existing production web applications. We build new internal business applications and operational tools. We develop features using AI-assisted development workflows. We create and support API integrations. We deploy applications through GitHub and Vercel. We troubleshoot bugs and production issues. We collaborate directly with leadership to design practical software solutions. We support applications used by Marketing, Customer Support, Sales, and Operations. We help automate business processes using modern AI development tools.
