Software Engineer

Salary: $112,500 - 125,000 per year
Requirements:
We require a Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience in application software programming, or a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of experience in application software programming. We prefer experience with Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML 5, XML, SQL scripting, PowerShell scripting, Blazor, and .NET SDK 8.0+. We prefer experience with vulnerability management and remediation. We prefer system design experience, including UI, Windows services, and integration. We prefer experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or a similar source code repository platform. We prefer experience with ServiceNow or comparable IT service ticketing tools. We prefer knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile. We prefer the ability to participate in a 24/7 rotating on-call schedule. We prefer current contractor or contingent worker experience with First Citizens Bank.
Responsibilities:
We source, compile, and interpret data, then assess its accuracy and efficiency while clearly communicating the results. We thoroughly test systems to confirm proper installation of new software, system updates, and overall operational effectiveness, and we report testing outcomes. We write code and help implement system changes and enhancements. We provide technical support, help keep processes running smoothly, and work to continuously improve processing capabilities. We partner closely with business and operations teams to support their objectives. We apply our technical knowledge to develop or install appropriate software and serve as a resource for data processing systems and procedures. We provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis. We may occasionally guide less experienced analysts within our team.
