Responsibilities
Produce accurate submittal, fabrication, and erection drawings within set deadlines while working independently; Write concise RFIs and identify situations where RFIs are needed during project work; Support junior detailers with questions on problem-solving approaches and detailing techniques; Revise drawings based on approval comments or checker mark-ups; Review other detailers drawings and prepare check prints that clearly identify missing or incorrect information; Examine specifications and project-specific requirements to ensure drawings comply; Review scrubbed drawings for consistency with check prints and resolve any conflicting information during back-checking; Manage assigned workload and communicate project status changes; Apply specifications correctly to drawings and ensure proper interpretation; Work with fabricators and installers to answer drawing and design questions; Coordinate with the estimating team to address scope and design questions during and after bid time
