Responsibilities
Lead technical work and serve as primary hands-on engineer for the booking API; Build and launch an external booking API with stable, versioned contracts; Make booking operations resilient to failures by designing idempotency, recovery, webhooks, and reconciliation; Evolve the core booking domain by establishing clear models and invariants; Extend the shared booking platform to support new categories; Own the architecture for supply, PMS, and POS integrations; Define data contracts that keep inventory discoverable through OpenSearch; Operate the systems by setting reliability and latency targets and adding tests, metrics, dashboards, alerts, tracing, and runbooks; Translate partner needs into durable platform capabilities and strengthen engineering practices through reviews and mentoring
