Sr. Software Development Engineer, Alexa Connections
Salary: $110,000 - 150,000 per year
Requirements:
We require 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. We require 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software language. We require 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling. We value experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team lead. We prefer 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. We prefer a bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent background.
Responsibilities:
We help shape product and technology direction by defining features, refining system architecture, and promoting Agentic AI and LLM best practices. We build agentic APIs that support low-latency, low-cost, highly reliable, and highly scalable cloud services and device software. We lead software design, development standards, team workflows, and code review practices. We optimize software libraries to reduce latency and improve CPU and memory efficiency. We deliver high-quality software in a dynamic, collaborative Agile/Scrum environment. We support the professional growth of colleagues by strengthening technical knowledge and engineering practices.
