Responsibilities
Apply systems engineering methods to analyze, develop, test, deploy, and sustain TMPC mission planning software and technical documentation. Coordinate with the Foreign Disclosure Office to ensure software and technical documentation are sanitized and properly prepared for release approval. Review, analyze, and document emerging TMPC requirements and software defects. Lead working groups to resolve engineering and technical challenges requiring tradeoff analysis. Provide technical input for project plans, schedules, roadmaps, and cost estimates. Review vendor-provided model-based systems engineering models and help develop MBSE system descriptions. Coordinate with test and evaluation activities to assess TMPC. Conduct technical risk management and tracking. Support vendor tasking, guidance, and oversight, including development of technical SOWs. Advise and support NAVAIR executives on systems engineering and digital engineering policy.
