Responsibilities
Lead SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams architecture covering information architecture, permissions, lifecycle, and administration models. Define Microsoft 365 governance for provisioning, access controls, retention, ownership, compliance, and lifecycle management. Provide technical leadership for enterprise migrations from on-premises SharePoint and file shares to Microsoft 365. Assess existing collaboration platforms and develop migration strategies, standards, and best practices. Design SharePoint information architecture including hubs, libraries, metadata, content types, navigation, search, and document management. Establish security and compliance guardrails with cybersecurity and compliance teams using Microsoft Purview capabilities. Mentor internal teams and act as the escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 architecture issues.
