Senior Basis Administrator

Salary: $102,100 - 153,100 per year
Requirements:
We require a bachelors degree and at least 5 years of SAP Basis administration experience, including installation, upgrades, and ongoing system maintenance. We are looking for proven experience managing complex SAP landscapes such as ERP, BW/BW4HANA, and related platforms. We need demonstrated expertise across multiple SAP solutions, including areas like EP, SRM, SCM/APO, TM, PO, Solution Manager, and MII. We expect strong experience with SAP ERP 6.0+ and BW/BW4HANA environments. We value deep technical understanding of SAP architecture, performance tuning, and system operations. Experience working in Java and/or ABAP-based environments is required. Familiarity with supporting technologies such as Linux/Unix, Oracle, BOBJ, and Solution Manager is important. We seek strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive, improvement-oriented approach. You should be able to manage multiple priorities in a high-availability, mission-critical environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams are essential.
Responsibilities:
We keep our 24/7 SAP environment stable, responsive, and reliable. We proactively identify risks and resolve issues before they affect business operations. We design, implement, and test disaster recovery plans to support business continuity. We monitor system health and performance using tools such as EarlyWatch reports and trend analysis, then apply tuning improvements across SAP and OS environments. We lead SAP and database upgrades, system copies, and transports while minimizing business disruption. We provide technical guidance on SAP architecture and long-term scalability. We manage incidents, changes, and problem resolution using OSS and ticketing tools, with a focus on root cause prevention. We improve job scheduling, system integration, and production control processes through automation and operational refinements. We work closely with functional teams, developers, and infrastructure partners to meet evolving business needs. We provide on-call support, including after-hours coverage when needed.
