Salary: $68,248 - 68,248 per year
Requirements:
We need a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field from an ABET-accredited program. We require practical knowledge of air intake systems and components, plus familiarity with CAD design tools. We value excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage proactively with stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional partners. We expect the ability to manage supplier work, juggle several simultaneous projects, and operate independently in a remote or hybrid setting. We require a valid drivers license with a clean driving record and the flexibility to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
Responsibilities:
We design, develop, and validate air intake systems and associated components for internal combustion and hybrid electrified vehicles. We coordinate CAD design, CAE work, prototyping, and physical testing to satisfy system, engine, and vehicle performance targets. We lead supplier engagement, monitor development status, and drive completion of engineering milestones and deliverables. We prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including DFMEA and DVP&R, to reduce design and validation risk. We support assembly plants, quality investigations, process-change validation, and value-optimization efforts across the product lifecycle.
