Jr. Software Engineer
Salary: $65,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:
We require a bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. We are looking for experience with object-oriented programming. We need hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. We value familiarity with Vue.js, React, Angular, or another modern front-end framework. We require experience consuming and building REST APIs, including JSON and XML message handling. We are seeking strong UI and UX design awareness. We need excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities. We value a customer service mindset. We expect knowledge of software engineering standards, principles, and project management practices. We need a willingness to learn new languages and platforms as needed. We require strong database skills, including SQL queries and stored procedures. We expect excellent verbal and written communication skills. We require the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality with company information.
Responsibilities:
We collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs, refine requirements, and design software that supports business goals. We provide accurate estimates for software development work. We follow disciplined software engineering and project management practices to support successful delivery. We analyze, update, and maintain moderately complex processes and code. We develop, deploy, and maintain applications. We take on additional duties as business needs evolve.
