Responsibilities
Monitor, analyze, evaluate, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues; install, maintain, and oversee computer network hardware and software; design, recommend, and implement enterprise security solutions; plan, implement, and maintain server and PC infrastructure across local and remote environments; perform software installations, system upgrades, patching, and general troubleshooting; work with Active Directory services; troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Office 365; virtualize applications and provide redundancy; document configurations, maintenance plans, project updates, change management items, network design, and security measures; develop, implement, and test disaster recovery response plans; create strategic configuration and capacity plans for digital scanning, VoIP, VLANs, Ethernet, and wireless networks; coordinate with the Datacenter Operations Manager and vendors on approved equipment purchases and maintenance; document issues, escalate as needed, and engage vendors to drive service resolution; contribute to research and planning for the annual budgeting process; travel to other Cuyahoga DD sites to provide service, repairs, and general inspections of network hardware as needed
