Requirements:
We require a Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional experience (4 years). You should have a total of 5+ years of related experience, including a minimum of 3 years of relevant SCI or SAP experience. At least 1 year of SAP-related experience is highly desired. You must meet the position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 within 6 months of the date of hire. Additionally, you need to complete training on Joint Security Implementation Guidance (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) if our supported organization requires the development of AIS accreditation packages. Applicable Windows professional certifications based on OS requirements for our supported organization are also necessary.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Establishing complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for assigned computer systems. Maintaining file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and system documentation as required. Analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance. Preparing systems for operational use and supporting operational tests. Reviewing, preparing, and updating AIS accreditation packages. Notifying the customer of any changes that might affect AIS accreditation/certification. Conducting AIS self-inspections and providing security coordination and review of all system test plans. Identifying AIS vulnerabilities and implementing countermeasures. Ensuring AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices. Performing VTC system administration, scheduling, and configuration. Providing guest networks client support. Handling account creations, changes, and deletions. Providing help desk support and troubleshooting. Performing hardware/software system configuration, upgrades, and modifications. Supporting personal-issue laptop use and performing media control and accountability. Managing COMSEC accounts and equipment.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/2007 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, and Microsoft Windows XP/Vista operating systems administration. A working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies, as well as data backup technologies and communication security (COMSEC) integration, would be advantageous. Familiarity with JAFAN 6/0, DCID/JAFAN 6/3, DCID/JAFAN 6/9, and Joint DODIIS/Cryptologic SCI Information Systems Security Standards, along with security policies and manuals, is desirable. You should also be willing to travel within our organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR), which could involve extensive travel, including both air and ground transportation.

Security clearance requirements include a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility, eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information, and a willingness to submit to a polygraph. Physical requirements consist of the ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
