Sr DevSecOps Engineer

Salary: $97,100 - 171,235 per year
Requirements:
We require previous DevOps experience or a software automation background. We expect experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software. We need hands-on experience with Linux systems such as RHEL/CentOS, as well as Windows Server and Windows Workstation environments. We require familiarity with Agile practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment. We expect scripting knowledge with tools such as bash, Python, PowerShell, or batch. We need experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Bamboo. We expect experience supporting technical users through training and guidance on DevSecOps tools and the software development lifecycle, including GitLab, Nexus, and CI tools. We require experience with Docker and/or containerization. We need knowledge of managing third-party software, including COTS, GOTS, and FOSS, to support storage efficiency and reuse across the program. We require U.S. citizenship because this role requires a government security clearance. A Top Secret clearance is required. Desired qualifications include experience with Agile process tools such as VersionOne or Atlassian Jira. Desired qualifications include building maintainable Infrastructure as Code with tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Desired qualifications include supporting multiple release schedules at the same time. Desired qualifications include understanding test automation and integrating it into a pipeline approach. Desired qualifications include experience with static analysis tools such as Fortify or Coverity and integrating them into pipelines. Desired qualifications include containerization experience, including Kubernetes and/or Helm charts. Desired qualifications include implementing virtualized hosts in VMware. Desired qualifications include Atlassian system administration skills.
Responsibilities:
We support DevSecOps solutions for multiple software product teams, including CI/CD pipeline tools and integrations. We apply core DevSecOps methods across design, implementation, execution, installation, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance in a heterogeneous environment. We work as part of agile teams to solve a range of technical challenges. We help modernize legacy applications and tools. We contribute to multiple project goals by applying proven technical practices and collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and customers. We administer Atlassian systems to support Agile workflows. We automate repetitive processes and continuously improve operational efficiency. We run builds and deployments and analyze configuration issues across development, test, and production release cycles. We support software release activities for multiple integrated applications.
