Technical Lead - Simulation & Certification

Salary: $126,694 - 205,878 per year
Requirements:
We need a bachelors degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a masters degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience; a JD or PhD is also acceptable. You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered for this position. We value experience in control systems and software development within highly regulated environments. We prefer familiarity with tools and processes for requirements management, model-based systems engineering, product lifecycle management, configuration and change control, code generation, simulation, and verification testing. Experience with FAA and military certification of safety-critical flight hardware/software is highly desirable, including standards such as ARP 4754, DO-178, DO-160, DO-254, and DO-326. We look for exposure to Agile-Scrum software development practices. We seek candidates who have led or managed teams delivering programs or supporting a functional discipline. Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, accountability, and the ability to deliver work on time and within budget are important to us.
Responsibilities:
We will have you lead an integrated, cross-functional engineering team to deliver all subsystem objectives and program outputs, with accountability for schedule, cost, quality, and compliance. You will define and coordinate the resources needed to meet stakeholder expectations, including setting individual goals and conducting performance reviews for assigned team members. You will plan, align, and integrate the teams work, covering the full scope of technical activities required to understand and deliver the solution to requirements. You will identify, manage, and escalate technical, cost, supply chain, and schedule risks in line with our risk management approach. You will serve as the central point of contact, communicating scope, specifications, and relevant updates to stakeholders, sponsors, and customers.
