Requirements:
We need proven leadership experience managing a team of 5 to 10 people. We require at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst. We expect 3 or more years in a leadership, team lead, or management capacity, whether direct or indirect. We prefer a bachelors degree or equivalent experience in management, technology, or a related field. We look for strong knowledge of standard business analysis practices and methods. We need excellent verbal and written communication skills. We value strong problem-solving ability, solid organization, and effective prioritization and time management. We require proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint. Experience with requirements management tools such as JAMA, JIRA, or Caliber is preferred. Healthcare industry experience is preferred. Experience working with vendor SaaS platforms and mapping requirements to existing functionality is preferred.
Responsibilities:
We lead and support multiple business analysis initiatives while maintaining requirements documentation and meeting milestones. We set daily priorities, manage delivery timelines, and follow appropriate escalation paths. We oversee and mentor business analysts, providing direction, training, feedback, and recognition. We define and document business requirements, use cases, and user stories in line with our business analysis standards. We assess team capacity, plan workloads, forecast resource needs, and escalate bottlenecks or constraints. We manage staff performance, establish goals and development plans, and complete performance reviews. We support hiring and onboarding activities when needed. We build strong relationships with stakeholders and foster collaboration across teams and departments. We identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency. We partner with project managers to align schedules, estimate effort, track milestones, report issues, and resolve conflicts. We coordinate with IT, vendors, and stakeholders to keep business and technical teams aligned. We contribute directly to deliverable development when hands-on support is needed.
