Requirements:
We prefer a bachelors degree or technical diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. We look for experience building modern web applications with React Development Tools, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. We value strong knowledge of React Development Tools and contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript development. We expect the ability to design clean, maintainable, and intuitive user interfaces. We need working knowledge of REST APIs and front-end/back-end integration. We require practical knowledge of SQL. We value experience in a Windows-based software development environment using tools such as Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, Jira, or similar. We look for strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. We need the ability to work effectively with software, firmware, SQA, product, and customer-facing technical teams. Nice-to-have experience includes Node.js, Java, Java 17/OpenJDK, or back-end service development. Additional assets include UX/UI design practices, cloud or customer-deployed web applications, cybersecurity, authentication, role and permission management, Docker, CI/CD, test automation, Git, and deployment/release tooling.
Responsibilities:
We develop, maintain, and enhance front-end and back-end features in our Virtuoso application. We build user interfaces and workflows used to configure, manage, and monitor Positron products. We support functionality related to GAM administration, CPE discovery, CPE configuration, customer/site setup, diagnostics, alarms, reporting, and user management. We prepare installation scripts for supported Linux and VM platforms. We write clean, maintainable, and reusable front-end code. We integrate Virtuoso user interfaces with back-end services and REST APIs. We support workflows for product configuration, software/firmware upgrades, Layer 2 setup, and VLAN-related configuration. We help maintain compatibility with current and future Positron GAM and CPE product generations. We contribute to the ongoing evolution of Virtuoso and the integration of new capabilities. We investigate application issues using logs, browser debugging tools, API responses, database data, and structured troubleshooting methods. We support SQA during test execution, issue reproduction, regression testing, and release validation. We participate in requirements clarification, feature design, code reviews, sprint planning, release planning, and technical discussions. We prepare clear technical documentation, design notes, and issue analyses when needed.
