Requirements:
We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. We require a LinkedIn profile. We need 10+ years of Java development experience, including core Java and modern frameworks. We need 7+ years of experience refactoring systems and modernizing monolithic applications. We need 7+ years of experience with Spring technologies, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate. We need 7+ years of experience working with relational databases and data analysis. We need 5+ years of experience building applications with JavaScript and React. We need 5+ years of experience with CSS and Bootstrap. We need 5+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs. We need 5+ years of experience performing developer-level testing with JUnit, Mockito, and React Testing Library. We need 5+ years of experience with deployment processes and CI/CD tooling. We need a strong understanding of SDLC methodologies. We need experience supporting enterprise web applications across the full application lifecycle. We need the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment. Preferred: 7+ years of Oracle database administration and SQL performance tuning. Preferred: Experience with application modernization and cloud-ready architecture design. Preferred: Experience implementing microservices-based architectures. Preferred: Experience supporting public sector or education-related enterprise applications. Responsibilities:
We refactor and modernize legacy Java applications into scalable, maintainable Spring Boot microservices. We design, build, and support responsive interfaces using React, JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap. We develop and consume secure RESTful APIs to enable enterprise integrations. We analyze business needs and turn them into technical solutions aligned with standards and best practices. We design, improve, and maintain relational database structures, with a focus on Oracle performance and SQL tuning. We perform unit, integration, and component testing using JUnit, Mockito, and React Testing Library. We troubleshoot application defects and provide production support for enterprise systems. We manage software builds, deployments, and releases through CI/CD pipelines. We collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and development teams throughout the SDLC. We enforce coding standards, development best practices, and application security requirements. We support enhancements, bug fixes, and ongoing modernization efforts. We participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
