Cerner Invision Application Owner
Salary: $124,800 - 145,600 per year
Requirements:
We are seeking 5–7 years of experience supporting Invision applications. We prefer experience implementing, optimizing, enhancing, or converting Invision functionality. We need a strong understanding of application ownership, product strategy, and roadmap development. We expect experience gathering requirements, facilitating discovery sessions, and contributing to solution design. We value the ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and still collaborate well in a team setting. We require a basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, including business and systems analysis, requirements gathering, functional specification development, development and testing, and solution delivery and implementation. We look for experience supporting enterprise-scale projects and cross-functional initiatives. We need strong written and verbal communication skills. We need strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. We expect the ability to influence stakeholders and lead discussions across business and technical groups. We prefer a bachelors degree. We value prior experience as an Application Owner, Product Owner, Business Analyst, Consultant, or in a similar strategic application leadership role. We prefer experience with governance, roadmap planning, and technology strategy initiatives.
Responsibilities:
We serve as the strategic owner and subject matter expert for the Invision application platform. We evaluate incoming requests for new functionality and enhancements. We lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional needs. We define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and growth strategy for Invision. We identify opportunities for conversion, innovation, optimization, and domain-specific improvements. We develop and manage the application roadmap with attention to lifecycle, strategic alignment, scalability, risk, and value delivery. We participate in project meetings, discovery workshops, design sessions, planning discussions, and solution reviews. We support multiple project teams at once and contribute to planning and execution. We review project requests and provide estimates for effort, cost, staffing, and implementation considerations. We collaborate with vendors, business stakeholders, informatics teams, and technology partners to ensure cohesive planning and delivery. We represent the application in governance forums and strategic planning discussions. We communicate roadmaps and strategic direction to stakeholders and leadership. We provide subject matter expertise and recommendations on application capabilities and future-state design. We support application governance and broader technology strategy efforts. We act as the primary Invision application owner and trusted advisor for application-related initiatives.
