Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a small engineering team while remaining hands-on in development; build and maintain full stack features using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Node.js; develop REST APIs and backend services with role-based access control and HIPAA-compliant audit logging; design and optimize PostgreSQL databases using Prisma ORM; build and maintain a Chrome Extension using Manifest V3 that connects directly with web-based EHR systems; develop and support Firebase Cloud Functions and other serverless backend services; work across PostgreSQL, Firestore, and BigQuery to support operational and analytical workflows; partner with cross-functional teams to deliver patient management, reporting, and analytics features; debug and resolve issues across frontend, backend, browser extension, database, and cloud environments; ensure application performance, reliability, scalability, and security when handling protected health information; participate in code reviews and help maintain a high-quality TypeScript codebase.
