Website Support Specialist / Front-End Developer

Salary: $50,000 - 50,000 per year
Requirements:
Strong background developing and maintaining WordPress websites. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, including responsive development methods. Experience adjusting WordPress themes, templates, and page structures. Comfortable editing front-end code rather than depending only on visual page builders. Working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery for basic interactive features. Experience with WordPress page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar tools. Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. Strong troubleshooting and debugging capability. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-moving agency setting. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Minimum 2 years of WordPress experience.
Responsibilities:
Update WordPress websites according to approved designs and project specifications. Build responsive page layouts using WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and page builders. Make front-end code updates to enhance layout, styling, functionality, and user experience. Adapt existing pages and templates while preserving consistency with established design systems. Create new landing pages, site sections, and conversion-oriented web experiences. Diagnose and fix front-end display issues across browsers and devices. Handle ongoing site improvement requests, including layout changes, styling revisions, content placement, and functionality enhancements. Update CSS and front-end code to support design revisions and client needs. Refresh forms, navigation, imagery, page structure, and interactive elements. Ensure changes remain visually consistent, responsive, accessible, and high quality. Carry out quality assurance testing before release. Confirm responsive behavior on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Test forms, links, navigation, animations, and interactive components. Look for ways to improve page performance, usability, and conversion results. Collaborate with designers, strategists, SEO specialists, and account managers to deliver website improvements. Convert design files into polished, production-ready WordPress pages. Provide technical guidance on front-end implementation and user experience. Support ongoing website optimization efforts.
