Requirements:
Hands-on experience with IBM DataStage for ETL/ELT development. Strong SQL skills with proven performance optimization on large datasets. Capability to execute data mapping, cleansing, deduplication, and validation. Familiarity with data governance principles, quality checks, lineage, and compliance. Proven experience in optimizing ETL processes and resolving data load challenges. Proficiency in Python (preferred). Knowledge of Salesforce (preferred). Experience with Snowflake (preferred). Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant practical experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop specifications for source-to-target mappings including field transformations, deduplication strategies, and validation criteria. Build and configure ETL workflows utilizing IBM DataStage, SQL, and Python to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading into Salesforce. Analyze source data, identify quality issues, and implement cleansing and standardization routines. Conduct mock migration runs, document error logs, perform root cause analysis, and apply remediation steps. Execute final production data loads and confirm verifications with business approval. Generate reconciliation reports to validate the accuracy and completeness of the data after migration. Create a detailed migration runbook that includes workflows, schedules, controls, and rollback procedures. Implement quality assurance checks, maintain lineage documentation, and prepare audit artifacts in line with governance and compliance standards. Collaborate with Salesforce teams to consider object relationships, loading sequences, and platform constraints during data migrations. Enhance ETL efficiency and automate recurring validation tasks.
