Hotel Engineer - HVAC and Electrical

Salary: $62,400 - 62,400 per year
Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent with vocational or technical training Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification Must meet state and federal certification or licensing requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance Extensive training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration Experience in parts inventory and requisition, surface preparation, and painting Ability to safely use hand and power tools Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment No supervisory experience required Valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities:
Attend to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues independently Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication Inspect tools, equipment, and machines visually Identify and operate shut-off valves for various equipment Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts as necessary Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics for plumbing and HVAC systems Demonstrate advanced skills in air conditioning, electrical systems, plumbing, and other maintenance areas Conduct complex repairs on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment Adhere to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures Train and mentor other engineers as required Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including conducting readings and rounds Maintain professionalism in appearance and interactions with guests and coworkers Move and handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as necessary
