Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and safely complete network changes using established procedures and operational tools. Mentor, onboard, and train junior network engineers. Identify, triage, analyze, and mitigate network events through monitoring systems. Conduct or support root-cause analysis and coordinate follow-up actions with internal teams and vendors. Provide on-call support and apply independent judgment in complex operational environments. Manage fault detection, response, and escalation for OCI systems and networks. Lead and represent the GNOC in vendor meetings, service reviews, and governance boards. Develop scripts and automation to reduce manual effort and improve reliability. Lead technical initiatives to improve runbooks, methods of procedure, and operational processes. Participate in network lifecycle management, including build, refresh, and upgrade projects. Participate in network solution design and design-review activities.
