Responsibilities
Plan and facilitate Finance workshops and requirements-gathering sessions across Canadian and U.S. operations. Document current-state and future-state Finance processes including gaps and control weaknesses. Capture requirements for multi-entity, multi-currency, consolidation, tax, and regulatory needs. Lead Finance requirements for manufacturing finance, inventory, and cost accounting. Translate Finance requirements into ERP RFP documentation and evaluation criteria. Participate in ERP software and implementation partner evaluations. Lead Finance participation in design validation, configuration assessments, and functional sign-off. Coordinate Finance data migration planning, validation, and opening-balance verification. Develop Finance testing strategies including UAT and defect management. Develop Finance procedures, training materials, and user-support documentation. Serve as the Finance lead and steward for ERP processes after implementation.
