Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in systems and network administration. At least 5 years of experience in a GxP environment (pharmaceutical or regulated). Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows (servers and workstations) and Active Directory. Proficient in VMware administration. Significant experience with Cisco (switching/routing, VLAN, troubleshooting). Extensive knowledge of Check Point firewalls (administration, VPN, rules, logs). Familiarity with monitoring tools (SolarWinds is a plus). Good understanding of regulatory requirements (21 CFR Part 11, CSV). Technical training in IT or equivalent experience. Relevant certifications are an asset: CCNA/CCNP, VMware (VCP), Microsoft
Responsibilities:
Monitor LAN performance (Cisco) and keep network documentation updated (diagrams, VLANs, inventories). Daily supervision of servers, Microsoft services, backups, and resource usage (CPU, memory, disk space). Manage the Microsoft Windows environment (servers and workstations): Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP, account and rights management. Ensure security and access rights via Active Directory, including periodic reviews of authorizations. Administer the VMware platform: deployment, operation, capacity, availability. Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Cisco networking equipment (switching/routing). Manage Check Point firewalls: rules, objects, NAT, VPN, logs, periodic reviews, and continuous improvement. Participate in the deployment of IT infrastructures and implementation activities (instructions, evidence, rollback plans). Review logs, perform updates, and contribute to patch management and hardening. Oversee, maintain, and validate computerized manufacturing and laboratory systems. Keep systems in a qualified state and assist with change control processes. Engage in validation activities for computerized systems (CSV): documentation, execution of tests (IQ/OQ), discrepancy management. Apply Data Integrity principles (ALCOA+) and ensure traceability and preservation of auditable evidence. Diagnose, execute, and document technical interventions; suggest preventive actions. Participate in corrective and preventive maintenance activities for IT infrastructure. Install and configure servers and IT equipment; keep inventories updated. Collaborate with systems/automation specialists and electrotechnicians for computerized manufacturing systems. Provide support to users at levels 1, 2, and 3, documenting interventions.
