Responsibilities
Lead a team of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Superintendents to deliver exceptional outcomes. Identify, pursue, win, and manage construction projects from the earliest stages through completion. Review bid documents to spot potential risks. Create contingency plans for critical-path delays. Interpret subcontractor scopes and contracts. Ensure team members have strong business development plans. Attend industry events to support business development. Maintain strong client relationships. Initiate new opportunities with architects, engineers, and owners. Develop a niche market and recruit qualified subcontractors. Manage multiple project teams while balancing profitability. Work closely with on-site Superintendents. Lead pre-construction and RFP package efforts. Ensure quality control plans are implemented. Complete punch lists to client satisfaction. Submit change orders according to standards. Prepare and distribute meeting minutes within 24 hours. Prepare and submit O&M manuals within 30 days of substantial completion. Complete WIP reports on schedule.
