Responsibilities
Architect and deliver low-latency, high-throughput Java Spring Boot distributed services; design and build resilient cloud-native service architectures using AWS compute, messaging, streaming, database, and storage services; create and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform and/or CloudFormation; implement and continuously improve observability capabilities using Datadog, Dynatrace, and Splunk; translate ambiguous requirements into stable service designs and explain engineering tradeoffs; lead technical design reviews and define engineering best practices; own production outcomes by resolving performance bottlenecks and scalability constraints; partner with machine learning engineers and data scientists to deliver production-ready solutions; mentor engineers and foster a culture of ownership; drive governance and adoption of approved AI-assisted engineering practices.
