Senior Cloud Platform Engineer
Salary: $75,900 - 141,900 per year
Requirements:
3-6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering. Strong expertise in Azure Cloud, including core services, identity, networking, compute, and governance. Familiarity with AWS is advantageous but not essential. Proficient in at least one programming language: - TypeScript or Node.js preferred - Python is also acceptable Experience with containerization (Docker); familiarity with Kubernetes/AKS is preferred. Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi, or CDK. Proven experience in building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance Azure platform components, including Infrastructure as Code modules, templates, guardrails, and deployment workflows. Collaborate with the Senior Principal Engineer to create a self-service cloud platform that speeds up product team delivery. Set up deployment or release pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. Create high-quality, reusable modules with tools like Terraform, Bicep, CDK, or other Infrastructure as Code solutions. Contribute to container workflows using Docker and support workloads on Kubernetes/AKS. Work closely with application teams to assist with onboarding, troubleshooting, and automating workload provisioning. Continuously enhance platform reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance frameworks.
