Programmer Analyst, Web Developer

Salary: $70,574 - 80,642 per year
Requirements:
We require a university degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering, or an equivalent blend of education and experience, along with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience. We need hands-on experience with modern web development frameworks and CMS platforms, such as Drupal, PHP, C#, .NET, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Sass, AJAX, Bootstrap, and Angular. We expect a solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, web accessibility, and search optimization. We look for familiarity with full-stack development environments, including Linux, Windows, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, IIS, AWS, and Azure. We require working knowledge of relational databases and SQL, plus experience building applications and integrations with APIs, web services, single sign-on, and enterprise databases such as Oracle, PL/SQL, REST services, XML, and JSON. We value knowledge of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies. We need adherence to coding standards, data privacy practices, secure development, and quality assurance principles. We expect strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to contribute in meetings and produce formal and informal documentation. We look for strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess software issues and products. We want someone who is highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to prioritize effectively in a high-pressure environment. We require the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams. Drupal 8 or a similar content management system experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities:
We develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support websites, integrations, web and mobile solutions, and software applications that serve our business needs. We build websites and web applications using contemporary CMS platforms, programming languages, and frameworks. We create and maintain dynamic, database-driven web applications and integrations that fit within our technology environment. We design mobile-responsive solutions that meet accessibility, UI/UX, and browser compatibility standards. We collaborate with IT colleagues to deliver operational and technical support for web, mobile, software, and enterprise applications. We help resolve technical issues raised by customers and internal users. We work with clients and technical teams on systems analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, workflow review, data mapping, and evaluation of existing or proposed solutions. We prepare documentation and support project planning, including work breakdown and implementation details. We provide training, guidance, and assistance to departments creating and launching web pages. We recommend hardware and software resources needed to support development and enhance our information infrastructure. We carry out other duties as assigned.
