Hotel Engineer

Salary: $65,858.4 - 65,858.4 per year
Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent Valid driver’s license Experience in general maintenance and surface preparation Knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry Basic computer skills for operating maintenance schedules and database entry Physical ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds and perform tasks such as bending and climbing Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in a maintenance environment
Responsibilities:
Respond to guest repair requests and address maintenance issues Conduct preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication Perform inspections of tools and equipment to ensure functionality Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as necessary Communicate daily activities and any issues with other shifts using standard protocols Execute tasks related to plumbing, electrical, and general repair Carry out painting, drywall repair, and light bulb replacement Utilize Lockout/Tagout procedures prior to maintenance work Keep work areas clean and organized during repairs and maintenance Foster a welcoming environment for guests and ensure their needs are met Assist with interior and exterior landscaping maintenance Complete other related duties as directed by management
