Responsibilities
Lead design and automation of mission-critical network infrastructure, Research technical manuals and security advisories, Evaluate hardware and software releases for compatibility and security, Enable bare-metal provisioning of RHEL servers using Kickstart-driven automation, Build secure network nodes including firmware upgrades and performance tuning, Perform connectivity testing and troubleshooting to improve throughput, Coordinate with functional teams for new site standups, Partner with customers to ensure plug-and-play deployments, Identify and correct network configuration issues, Configure and troubleshoot encryptors, Diagnose encryption problems using customer-reported symptoms, Support off-site communications checks and equipment upgrades, Provide rapid remote assistance for communication restoration, Detect and report hardware failures at remote endpoints, Baseline and test MFS kits under compressed timelines, Collaborate with customers and units to resolve connectivity issues, Provide on-site support for urgent assignments including after-hours coverage
